Asian Travel Service was established in March 2007 to cater to the growing demand for Thailand as a major tourist destination. Asian Travel Service is a joint venture of CBS Travel Asia, one of Thailand's most respected and leading travel companies. Mr. Chaladol Ussamarn, CEO of CBS Travel Asia is the former Managing Director & Co-founder of Destinations of the World Thailand and is the Co-founder and CEO of Asian Travel Service. His deep understanding of Asian tourism is rooted in over 35 years of hands-on operational experience in the travel trade. Of these 35 years, 29 of them were spent with a leading Swiss / Thai tour company where he worked his way up to a senior executive level prior to branching out on his own and opening up CBS Travel Asia as an independent company. Asian Travel Service and CBS Travel Asia operate as separate companies as they both handle different markets.

In addition to the partner in Thailand, this new venture Asian Travel Service is also joined by partners from Holland and Hong-Kong.
